I will save Fate-chan!

Last night I watched the Nanoha movie. Definitely worth watching; it's the first 12-episode season compressed into two hours, but they did a good job of telling the story. It was also less pedo-licious and fanservice-y, which I greatly appreciated, and had better pacing overall. It was great to revisit the beginning of The Epic Romance of Nanoha and Fate (tm). They are such adorable babydykes. ♥

I also watched Fair Game. I also thought it was well-done; it got across the causes and effects of Valerie Plame being outed, and how utterly egregious the whole thing was. It found a pretty good balance between the personal drama of how it affected Plame and her husband, and how it affected the people that Plame had been trying to protect. I did find it hilarious that Sean Penn playing Joe Wilson... seemed oftly similar to Sean Penn playing himself. Oh Sean Penn, you asshole. Never change.

...What? They're actually bothering to make dubbed versions of Loveless and Kashimashi?

I'd rather they spent the money on subbing more series.

It's kind of funny though- when I was a kid, we had to wait years after the dubbed version to get the subbed version, like with Sailor Moon; now these dubbed versions are getting released a long time after the subbed versions. (You darn kids get off my lawn! *shakes my walker*)
